Radio Projects
From podcasting to ad writing and producing, I've thoroughly enjoyed my time in radio production. Here are a few of the projects that highlight my technical and writing skills. I believe they capture the essence of my radio portfolio, to view the portfolio in its entirety please contact me at c2harader@live.com

:60 Concert Spot

In this :60 concert spot I put on my best announcer voice to promote a fictional concert played by my favorite band! This was my first real experience building a music bed and I did not pick easy songs to blend, but I think it sounds pretty good (especially with the doubled voice track). Give it a listen!
I Could Go On! Podcast

Airing weekly on 88.1 WCRX-FM this podcast was my biggest project yet. Not only did I have to coordinate with guests to record interviews, I then had to edit and publish the half-hour episodes weekly to streaming feeds and the station. I learned a lot by creating this podcast, and not just about podcasting! On the show I interview a new guest each week and they go on and on about a special interest of theirs. It was so wonderful providing a space for my guests to ramble and teach me about these interests, and learning the world views and perspectives of others has greatly informed my writing! I've included just a sample, to find full episodes click on the links to listen on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
:60 Movie Spot

For this project I created a trailer for the Lord of the Rings films. Pulling audio and creating my own (on theme) voice over was a wonderful exercise. The number of tracks I had on ProTools was truly insane but necessary to create the seamless music bed I had committed to making. Writing this was also a fun challenge as I had 11 hours worth of clips to potentially use but had to pick and choose carefully to capture the films' most iconic moments.
:60 Contest Promo

This promo was so fun to make! Doing my best radio announcer voice, I got to write and promote my dream radio competition. Making the bed for this in Adobe Audition was a bit challenging, but I loved getting to pull my favorite Star Wars score and sfx to create a professional radio competition promo.
